About The Position
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a contract assignment. The ideal candidate will provide quality nursing care, administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and support interdisciplinary healthcare teams in delivering exceptional patient care in a long-term care/skilled nursing environment.
Requirements
- Active LPN License required
- Strong patient care, communication, and clinical assessment skills required
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting required
Nice To Haves
- Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
- Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and report any changes to supervising nurses or physicians
- Assist residents with daily nursing care and support individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and patient records
- Collaborate with CNAs, RNs, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and facility regulations
