About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a contract assignment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, assist with daily nursing responsibilities, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Requirements
- Active LPN License required
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills required
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment required
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused attitude required
Nice To Haves
- Current BLS/CPR Certification preferred
- Previous experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of an RN or physician
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor and document patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including hygiene, mobility, and comfort care
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with facility guidelines
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, patients, and family members regarding patient care plans and updates
- Observe and report any changes in patient condition promptly
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment
- Support the healthcare team with additional clinical duties as assigned
