About The Position

Hendricks Hospital is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join its compassionate and dedicated Long Term Care team in Hendricks, Minnesota. The nurse provides high-quality care to residents, assesses and plans for resident needs, and implements care while ensuring resident care plans are followed. The role includes obtaining, administering, and monitoring the effectiveness of medications according to facility policies and procedures; communicating with medical staff to support prompt, quality care; and carrying out physician orders as directed. This is a PRN position with hours as needed. Weekend and holiday rotation is required. Starting wage is $27.10 per hour, dependent on experience. Weekend and shift differentials are available. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Minnesota.
Strong leadership, initiative, and independent judgment skills.
Flexibility to handle changing situations and emergency needs.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Computer experience and proficiency to maintain the EMR.
Ability to perform moderate to heavy physical work, including frequent standing, bending, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting weights in excess of 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in geriatric nursing.

Responsibilities
