About The Position
Administers nursing care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties and creates a positive customer service environment.
Requirements
- Current licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing.
Responsibilities
- Assess and identify all patient needs.
- Implement appropriate interventions considering patient-population needs and the department’s scope of service.
- Maintain the Nursing Care Plan.
- Maintain the plan for delivery of nursing care established by the Registered Nurse.
- Ensure nursing care interventions and activities are directed toward resolving problems.
- Delegate nursing care activities to nurse aides as needed.
- Follow physician orders.
