About The Position
As an LPN on the Medical-Surgical Unit, you will provide direct patient care while working closely with registered nurses, providers, and the interdisciplinary team. You will deliver individualized, patient-centered care and help promote patient safety and infection prevention. The role offers the opportunity to work with an experienced team and provide meaningful care to patients throughout their hospital stay.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved practical nursing program.
- Current LPN license eligible to practice in Wisconsin.
- Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days.
Nice To Haves
- Previous acute-care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care within the scope of LPN practice.
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Assist with assessments and care planning.
- Provide patient and family education.
- Assist with activities of daily living and patient comfort.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Collaborate with RNs, providers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Promote patient safety and infection prevention.
- Support individualized, patient-centered care.
