About The Position
Community Care, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one pediatric private duty nursing care for a 6-year-old child in a supportive home setting in Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania. The role focuses on personalized, family-centered care and building a meaningful connection with the child and family. The position is scheduled for Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Community Care describes itself as a family-owned home health agency that has served local communities since 1987, providing skilled nursing and therapy visits as well as adult and pediatric private duty care.
Requirements
- Current LPN or RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- At least 6 months of nursing experience.
- CPR certification.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Caring attitude, strong independence, and a passion for pediatric care.
Nice To Haves
- Home health experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Perform G-tube care and feedings.
- Administer medications safely and accurately.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with the care team and family.
- Deliver exceptional, family-centered pediatric care.
