About The Position

LPNs work under the supervision of registered nurses and other medical professionals. They should have excellent communication skills, a strong sense of empathy, and a thorough understanding of patient care protocols. This is a PRN, as-needed position. The employee must be available to work at least 12 hours bi-weekly, as needed according to departmental demands. Additional hours may be required if requested by a supervisor to accomplish work objectives, and work hours may vary depending on unit needs.

Requirements

• Graduate from a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program.
• Hold an LPN license in South Carolina or a compact state.
• Have current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• One year of LPN experience is listed as minimum training and education.
