About The Position

Licensed Practical Nurses work under the supervision of registered nurses and other medical professionals, providing nursing care to the community. The role calls for excellent communication skills, empathy, and a thorough understanding of patient care protocols.

This is a PRN, as-needed position. The employee must be available to work at least 12 hours bi-weekly, according to departmental demands. Additional hours may be requested by a supervisor to accomplish work objectives. Work hours may increase or decrease depending on unit needs. The position has a rotating work shift.

Requirements

• Graduate from a recognized Licensed Practical Nursing program.
• Hold an LPN license in South Carolina or a compact state.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• One year of LPN experience is stated under minimum training and education.
