About The Position
Rawlins House Health and Living is accepting applications for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for all shifts. At CarDon and Associates, LPNs provide high-quality patient care and support residents’ comfort and well-being. The role includes assisting residents with daily activities, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to create and carry out individualized care plans, monitoring residents’ health, administering medications, and educating residents and their families. The position offers flexible nursing schedules and opportunities for career growth, including potential advancement into leadership roles.
Requirements
- Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Indiana.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a long-term care or assisted living environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records and documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans.
- Provide education to residents and their families.
