About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) delivers quality nursing care to patients through interpersonal contact and provides care and services to help patients attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The role involves monitoring and reporting changes in patients’ conditions. The LPN also assigns duties, instructs, and provides clinical supervision to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited LPN program.
- Currently licensed or registered in the applicable state.
- Maintain an active Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing throughout employment.
- Obtain CPR certification upon hire or during orientation and keep it current throughout employment.
- Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant action.
- Knowledgeably and competently deliver quality nursing care to patients.
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
Nice To Haves
- One year of skilled nursing experience preferred.
