LPN Licensed Practical Nurse
About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) delivers quality nursing care through interpersonal contact and provides care and services to help patients attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The role includes monitoring and reporting changes in patients’ conditions, assigning duties to CNAs, instructing them, and providing clinical supervision. Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
- Current license or registration in the applicable state.
- Maintain an active Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing throughout employment.
- CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation; certification must remain current during employment.
- Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Knowledgeably and competently deliver quality nursing care to patients.
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
Nice To Haves
- One year of skilled nursing experience is preferred.
