About The Position

Physicians’ Primary Care of Southwest Florida is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse for its Adult Medicine practice at the Cay Adult Medicine location in Cape Coral, Florida. The LPN performs patient intake, administers prescribed medications and treatments, records chart information in the patient management system, and supports the Clinical Coordinator and other clinical team members. The role requires maintaining patient confidentiality and following HIPAA guidelines and regulations.

Requirements

• Hold a valid, current State of Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
• Have strong attention to detail and the ability to record information accurately.
• Be able to develop and maintain good rapport and cooperative working relationships with providers, staff, and patients.
• Have knowledge of phlebotomy, patient intake, and common medications.
• Have one year of clinical experience or a combination of medical education and work experience.
• Hold CPR certification or be able to obtain it upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake, including taking vital signs, obtaining medical history, and reviewing medications.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with clinical standards.
• Accurately record chart information in the patient management system.
• Assist the Clinical Coordinator and other clinical team members as needed.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines and regulations.
