About The Position
The Village at Orchard Ridge is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide compassionate, resident-centered care in a supportive, team-oriented senior living community. The nurse provides hands-on care, helps improve residents’ quality of life, and collaborates with RNs, doctors, residents, and families. Day and night shifts are available. This is a PRN position paying $25.00–$37.00 per hour; the final offer depends on skills, experience, and professional background. Shift differentials are also offered.
Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Virginia.
- 3–5 years of experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related healthcare facility.
- Passion for providing compassionate, resident-focused care.
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
- Commitment to maintaining a professional, respectful environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents according to care plans and physician orders.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
- Monitor residents’ health status and promptly report changes.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate clinical records.
- Collaborate with the care team, residents, and families to ensure high-quality, resident-centered care.
- Uphold infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
