About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for pediatric care to join its Skilled Nursing team. The role provides compassionate, high-quality, reliable private duty nursing to pediatric clients and their families in clients’ homes. Nurses care for one client at a time, build client relationships, and observe milestones. Clients range in age from birth to 21 years old. Shifts may be traditional 4-, 8-, or 10-hour shifts, with flexible scheduling based on nurse availability and no minimum scheduling requirements. The nurse travels to one nearby client home on a chosen schedule.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
• Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
• Provide hands-on, one-on-one care to a pediatric client in the client’s home.
