About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse with a passion for pediatric care to join its Skilled Nursing team. The role provides private duty, one-on-one care in a client’s home, serving clients from birth through age 21. Nurses travel to one nearby client home and provide hands-on care while building relationships and observing clients’ milestones. Scheduling is flexible and based on availability, with traditional shifts of four, eight, or ten hours and no minimum scheduling requirements. The position is available full-time, part-time, or per diem.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on, carry out, and properly document doctors’ orders.
• Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
• Travel to one client’s home according to the selected schedule and provide one-on-one care.
