About The Position
Mercy Youngstown Behavioral Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide care in its Behavioral Health Unit. The role is part of a team culture focused on teamwork and effective communication in the delivery of specialized care to patients. The position is full-time, working day shifts in 12-hour shifts for 36 hours per week.
Requirements
- Current state LPN license or current multistate compact license.
- Associate degree from an accredited nursing school.
- BCLS certification, or obtain it within one week of hire or transfer.
- Critical-thinking skills and decisive judgment.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.

- One year of behavioral health work experience is preferred.
