About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct and indirect patient care in a Med-Surg/Telemetry setting, using clinical competence within the scope of practice and applicable state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LPN helps maintain patient safety, provide comfort and care, and improve the overall patient experience. This is a full-time night-shift position scheduled for three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with rotating weekends and holidays, at Prime Healthcare St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Compensation is estimated at $31.00–$40.00 per hour. A sign-on bonus of $7,500 is available to qualified candidates; eligibility and payout terms apply and are discussed during the interview process.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintained thereafter.
• Current ACLS (AHA) certificate within 90 days of hire and maintained thereafter.

• Work experience in health care is preferred.
