About The Position

American Village is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing care to residents. The role offers day, evening, or night shifts. LPNs build meaningful relationships by learning residents’ life stories and use their nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The position calls for a supportive, collaborative approach and a commitment to excellent senior care. Requirements

Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
Proficient medication management skills.
Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
Use nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being.
Conduct resident assessments and accurately document changes in condition.
Manage medications.
Demonstrate Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence in interactions with residents, family members, customers, and staff.
Contribute to a respectful and positive work environment through effective interpersonal communication.
