Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Pediatrics
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for pediatric care to join its Skilled Nursing team. The role provides one-on-one private duty nursing in a client’s home, serving clients from birth through age 21. Nurses travel to one nearby client home on a schedule they choose and provide compassionate, reliable care while building relationships with clients and observing their milestones. Private duty nursing offers traditional shifts of 4, 8, or 10 hours. Scheduling is flexible, with no minimum hours, and may be full-time, part-time, or per diem. Benefits are subject to employment type.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state.

Responsibilities
- Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
- Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
- Travel to one client’s home near the nurse on a chosen schedule.
- Provide hands-on, one-on-one care to pediatric clients.
