About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for pediatric care to join its Skilled Nursing team. The role provides compassionate, high-quality, reliable private duty nursing to pediatric clients in their homes, with one-on-one care and opportunities to build relationships and observe client milestones. Clients range in age from birth to 21 years old. Nurses travel to one nearby client home and work a schedule based on their availability. Private duty shifts include traditional 4-, 8-, or 10-hour options. Scheduling is flexible, with no minimum hours, and may be full-time, part-time, or per diem.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
• Hold a current nursing license in good standing in the state.

Responsibilities

• Travel to one client’s home near you according to the schedule you choose.
• Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
• Perform assessments and monitor clients’ conditions.
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
• Provide one-on-one pediatric care and build relationships with clients.
