About The Position
Silverado Franklin is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide clinical care and support to residents living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other memory-impairing conditions. The role combines medical expertise, empathy, and relationship-building to help residents live with dignity and joy in a team-focused environment. The position is full time on the NOC shift, with variable days and morning coverage as needed.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Vocational Nursing program.
- Active LVN/LPN license.
- Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfort working around animals and pets.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in senior care or memory care settings.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a compassionate liaison between residents, families, and physicians.
- Provide clinical support and assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and mobility.
- Monitor resident health and maintain accurate care documentation.
- Support a safe, respectful, and engaging environment for residents with memory impairments.
