LPN Assisted Living NIGHT SHIFT
About The Position
Allisonville Meadows Assisted Living is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Monday–Friday night shift. The nurse will build meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories and using nursing skills to support residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The role calls for a comforting, engaging presence, teamwork, leadership, collaboration across facility teams, and respectful communication. Candidates must hold a current Indiana LPN license and have medication management, assessment, and documentation skills, along with a passion for geriatric nursing and senior care.
Requirements
- Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in Indiana.
- Proficient medication management skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
- Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being.
- Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
- Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
- Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Conduct thorough resident assessments and accurately document changes in condition.
