Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - $7,500 SIGN-ON Bonus - FT Evenings
About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) assists with assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients of all ages during their shift. The LPN meets established skilled nursing practice standards, collaborates with the care team, participates in interdisciplinary care, advocates for patients, and provides person-centered care and services. This is an onsite role at Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility in Montour Falls, New York, with an evening shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM and work every other weekend. The posted standard pay rate is $26.15–$37.00 per hour, with a $7,500 sign-on bonus.
Requirements
- Graduate of a nursing program.
- Current New York State LPN license.
- CPR/BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Prior patient care experience.
- Prior customer service experience.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) and in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Monitor and record patient or resident vital signs and conditions, promptly reporting changes or pertinent observations to the RN and appropriate nursing personnel.
- Provide ethical, professional, and patient-centered care within scope of practice while advocating for patients and residents.
- Maintain clinical competency through required education and training, and coordinate care effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
- Complete accurate and thorough documentation in the EMR/Point Click Care system.
- Participate in unit councils, staff meetings, and other team activities.
