LPN Licensed Practical Nurse $7,500 Sign-On Bonus
About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is an important member of the interdisciplinary team and delivers quality nursing care through interpersonal contact. The LPN provides care and services that help patients attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The role includes monitoring and reporting changes in patients’ conditions, as well as assigning duties, instructing, and providing clinical supervision to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). The employer is affiliated with Life Care Centers of America, a privately owned healthcare organization with more than 200 locations across the U.S. A $7,500 sign-on bonus is offered.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited LPN program.
- Hold a current license or registration in the applicable state.
- Maintain an active Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing throughout employment.
- Obtain CPR certification upon hire or during orientation and maintain current certification throughout employment.
- Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Knowledgeably and competently deliver quality nursing care to patients.
- Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
Nice To Haves
- One year of skilled nursing experience is preferred.
