About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) delivers quality nursing care through interpersonal contact and provides care and services to help patients attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The LPN monitors and reports changes in patients’ conditions and assigns duties, instructs, and provides clinical supervision to CNAs. The employer is affiliated with Life Care Centers of America, a privately owned healthcare organization with more than 200 locations across the U.S.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited LPN program.
• Current license or registration in the applicable state.
• Maintain an active Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing throughout employment.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation, and kept current throughout employment.

Nice To Haves

• One year of skilled nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities
