About The Position
The Precertification Nurse (Precert Nurse) is assigned specific departments or services and handles all precertification needs for those assignments. The position follows existing workflows and requires accurate documentation, discretion with sensitive information, and the ability to manage a fast-paced workload. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Remote work is possible.
Requirements
- Graduate certificate from an accredited school of nursing, LPN or RN program.
- Current Mississippi (MS) nursing license.
- Ability to maintain composure in fast-paced and stressful situations or timelines.
- Ability and desire to learn new technologies.
- Timeliness and dependability.
- Ability to multitask, work independently, and pay close attention to detail.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to complete documentation accurately and follow existing workflows.
