About The Position

Immanuel Communities is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing care and support to residents at Newport House, a long-term care community in Omaha, Nebraska. The position’s overall purpose is to ensure residents are cared for mentally, spiritually, and in health, and are safe, free from pain or abuse, and treated with dignity and respect. The LPN works with a team committed to quality, dignity, and person-centered care.

This is a full-time overnight position scheduled Monday through Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, at Newport House, 6798 North 67th Plaza, Omaha, NE 68152. Pay is up to $35.52 per hour, based on experience, certifications, skills, and education. A background check and drug screen are required before hire. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Requirements

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of employment.
• At least one year of progressive experience in an assisted living or skilled care community, or related experience; equivalent years of education may substitute for experience.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Must complete a background check and drug screen before hire.
