About The Position

Wellstar is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their West Georgia Primary Care team on Vernon Street. The LPN will function under the direction of the Physician, Nurse Supervisor, and Practice Manager. The role involves recognizing patient needs and symptoms, providing care as directed by the physician, preparing patients for exams, assisting during treatments, coordinating tests and follow-up care, and recording treatment details in the medical record. The LPN will also assist with patient and family education and demonstrate competency in serving patients of all ages.

Requirements

• Graduate from a practical or vocational nursing program.
• Current/active license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.
• Must have a current BLS card from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross prior to hire date.
