Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN Primary Care
About The Position
Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join its Naugatuck Primary Care office. The ideal candidate is driven to provide patient-centered experiences through scholarly scientific inquiry, compassion for the human spirit and mind, patient and family advocacy and education, and collaboration with everyone involved in patient care. The LPN contributes to the quality of nursing care through performance-improvement techniques that positively affect patient care. The role communicates effectively with colleagues, patients, and families; educates patients and families about the care being provided; uses computer-based applications and standard office applications; and demonstrates problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and positive communication through teamwork. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position with 40-hour days on the day shift. The listed pay range is $24.85–$39.75 per hour, with pay based on experience, skills, and education and potentially varying by location.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
- Connecticut licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Current CPR certification.
- Recent clinical experience is desired.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the overall quality of nursing care through performance-improvement techniques that positively impact patient care.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues, patients, and family members.
- Educate patients and family members so they have a transparent understanding of the care being provided.
- Use computer-based applications, including E-MAR and clinical documentation, email, and standard applications such as Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrate problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and positive communication through teamwork.
