About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a staff nurse at the Galax Family Care Clinic, providing quality care to customers and performing duties delegated and assigned by the center’s head nurse. The role follows HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality, maintains records related to appointments, orders, reports, films, and requisitions, and demonstrates customer service consistent with the organization’s vision, mission, and values. The position is with Twin County Physician Practices, part of Twin County Regional Healthcare and Lifepoint Health.

Requirements

• Hold an active Virginia single-state LPN license or a compact license. If relocating, update licensure to the new Primary State of Residence before employment begins.
• Graduate from a school of nursing in practical nursing.
• Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of hire, or before completing orientation if that occurs within 30 days of hire.
