Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - $5,000.00 SIGN-ON Bonus - PT Evening
About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) assists with assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients of all ages during the assigned shift. The LPN is responsible for meeting established standards of skilled nursing practice, collaborating with the care team, participating in interdisciplinary care, advocating for patients, and providing person-centered care and services. This is an onsite position at Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility in Montour Falls, New York. The evening shift is 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM and requires working every other weekend. The standard pay rate is $26.15–$37.00 per hour, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus, plus benefits.
Requirements
- Graduate of a nursing program.
- Current New York State LPN license.
- CPR/BLS certification.
Nice To Haves

- Prior customer service experience.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) and in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Monitor and record patient/resident vital signs and conditions, promptly reporting changes or pertinent observations to the RN and appropriate nursing personnel.
- Provide ethical, professional, and patient-centered care within the scope of practice while advocating for patients/residents.
- Maintain clinical competency through required education and training.
- Coordinate care effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
- Complete accurate and thorough documentation in the EMR/Point Click Care system.
- Participate in unit councils, staff meetings, and other team activities.
