Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Sign on Bonus
About The Position
Villas of Holly Brook and Reflections Memory Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide resident care and coordinate the implementation and delivery of care services in the community. The LPN participates in developing and implementing the company’s philosophies, provides operational assistance to the Wellness Director, supports staff, and may coordinate the use of materials, equipment, and supplies. The position offers 12-hour shifts from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with day and night shifts available. Weekend work is required. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is paid incrementally.
Requirements
- Hold a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license to practice as required by state regulations.
- Have experience in direct patient care and assessment or observation of clinical conditions.
- Be CPR certified and have knowledge of basic first aid.
- Complete all state-required training to maintain licensure.
- Be able to work flexible hours to meet the demands of the position.
- Be available to work weekends.
Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising the medication program and medication-room activity, and assist residents with self-administration of medication.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
- Maintain positive relations with residents, families, and physicians.
- Report significant incidents and changes in residents’ needs to the Executive Director or Wellness Director.
- Assist with completing resident assessments and service plans.
- Assist with training assisted living staff and participate in orienting new staff.
- Attend and participate in scheduled in-service programs, training programs, and staff meetings.
- Assist with caregiver scheduling and staffing as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
