Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - $7,500.00 SIGN-On Bonus - FT Nights
About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) assists with assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients of all ages during their shift. The LPN meets established standards of skilled nursing practice, collaborates with the care team, participates in interdisciplinary care, and advocates for patients while providing person-centered care and services. This is an onsite role at Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility in Montour Falls, New York. The night shift runs from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, and the role requires working every other weekend. The standard pay rate is $26.15–$37.00 per hour, and the position offers a $7,500 sign-on bonus plus benefits.
Requirements
- Graduate of a nursing program.
- Current New York State LPN license.
- CPR/BLS.

Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments under the supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) and in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Monitor and record patient/resident vital signs and conditions, and promptly report changes or pertinent observations to the RN and appropriate nursing personnel.
- Provide ethical, professional, patient-centered care within scope of practice while advocating for patients/residents.
- Maintain clinical competency through required education and training.
- Coordinate care effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
- Complete accurate and thorough documentation in the EMR/Point Click Care system.
- Participate in unit councils, staff meetings, and other team activities.
