Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Terrace at Eddy Memorial Assisted Living
About The Position
The Terrace at Eddy Memorial in Troy, NY has an opportunity for a full-time LPN to work the day shift from 7 am to 3 pm with a rotating weekend schedule. The Terrace at Eddy Memorial provides enriched housing and assisted living to seniors who value amenity-rich living but need assistance with daily tasks such as household chores, bathing, dressing, and medication management. The campus offers private studio and one-bedroom apartments, allowing seniors to maintain their independence while staff provide security and personalized care tailored to individual needs. As a member of the healthcare team, the LPN will have growth opportunities, staff development focus, and build strong bonds with residents and their families. Requirements
- Valid NYS LPN license
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year of experience as a LPN, but willing to help train the right candidate to further their skills
- 1+ yr working in a skilled nursing facility
- Ability to maintain the highest level of customer service while completing day to day duties and responsibilities
- Ability to communicate effectively in a fast pace work environment
- Ability to engage within a team setting
- Passion to learn, grow and develop in the nursing field
Responsibilities
- The nursing care of residents under the direction of the Nursing Director
- Oversee a team of resident assistants
- Delegate select responsibilities to ensure the highest level of resident care and aide
- Demonstrate SPHP's Standards of Behavior and Core Values.
