About The Position
Relient Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time position in a skilled nursing facility in Waldorf, Maryland. The facility provides rehabilitation services through a collaborative, patient-focused therapy department. The role offers a supportive team environment, modern equipment, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth. New graduates and experienced PTAs are welcome. This is a direct-hire, permanent-placement position with a Monday–Friday schedule.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
- Provide skilled therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Document patient progress using EMR systems.
- Communicate with Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and nursing staff.
- Promote patient independence and mobility.
