About The Position

Care Initiatives is hiring a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to lead Stratford Specialty Care, a 53-bed skilled nursing facility with a 15-bed CCDI unit in Stratford, Iowa. The CCDI unit serves men only. The facility is in a rural community in North-Central Iowa, approximately a 30-minute commute from Fort Dodge and Ames. The Administrator oversees the facility’s day-to-day operations, supports quality resident care and operational excellence, and leads staff and operational improvement. Care Initiatives is a nonprofit healthcare organization operating more than 40 skilled nursing communities and eight hospice offices, as well as an internal staffing agency. It emphasizes resident-centered care, staff development, service, accountability, and continuous improvement. Newly licensed administrators may receive support for growth and development.

Requirements

Hold a valid Iowa Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license in good standing, or be able to activate NHA licensure in Iowa.
Ability to build relationships and lead a team through change with professionalism and empathy.

Nice To Haves

Proven leadership experience in skilled nursing is highly desired.
Newly licensed Administrators may be supported in their growth and development.

Responsibilities
