About The Position
Care Initiatives is hiring a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to lead Stratford Specialty Care, a 53-bed skilled nursing facility with a 15-bed, male-only CCDI unit in Stratford, Iowa. The position oversees the facility’s daily operations and supports quality resident care, operational excellence, staff development, and positive outcomes. The Administrator is expected to foster a compassionate, collaborative, accountable, and resident-centered culture. Care Initiatives is a nonprofit healthcare organization operating more than 40 skilled nursing communities and eight hospice offices in Iowa, as well as an internal staffing agency. Newly licensed Administrators may be supported in their growth and development.
Requirements
- Valid Iowa Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license in good standing, or ability to activate NHA licensure in Iowa.
- Ability to build relationships and lead a team through change with professionalism and empathy.
Nice To Haves
- Proven leadership experience in skilled nursing is highly desired.
