The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) is responsible for the overall operations of Hebron Oaks and managing the partnership with Oakwood Preferred Hospice. This role emphasizes empowering staff, ensuring high-quality resident services, and resolving concerns to achieve resident and family satisfaction. The administrator reviews services in light of market needs, develops annual facility goals and objectives in alignment with campus and Oakwood business goals, and ensures their implementation. Key responsibilities include meeting budget projections and census numbers, monitoring medical director and physician duties, developing and managing operational and capital budgets, and completing monthly financial reports. The LNHA ensures compliance with state and federal regulations for skilled nursing facilities, maintains healthy relationships with agencies, and oversees the maintenance and protection of the building and equipment. This role also involves maintaining HIPAA compliance, partnering with HR for performance management, developing staff through internal education and career development, and delivering performance evaluations. The administrator manages the staffing model to ensure quality service delivery and meets PPD expectations. They serve as staff liaison for Resident Council and Family Focus meetings, maintain a positive image of Oakwood in the community, and coordinate policies and procedures. The LNHA develops relationships with hospitals for admissions and discharges, reports events to claims consultants, and facilitates quality assurance meetings to achieve the highest level of care. Ethical conduct, accountability, empathy, and teamwork are essential. The role requires understanding financial complexity, driving business growth, managing time effectively, problem-solving, and utilizing new technologies.
