About The Position

Interim HealthCare is seeking experienced and compassionate Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs) who are passionate about providing exceptional care to older adults with memory loss and cognitive impairment. If you thrive on building meaningful connections, supporting independence, and bringing comfort to patients and their families, we'd love to meet you. As a valued member of our care team, you will provide compassionate, person-centered care to individuals living with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias. You will assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility. You will use patience, empathy, and effective communication techniques to reduce anxiety and support positive behaviors. You will recognize changes in physical, emotional, and cognitive condition and communicate observations promptly to the nursing team. You will assist with safe transfers, ambulation, positioning, and fall prevention. You will support meaningful engagement and encourage independence whenever possible. You will build trusting relationships with patients and provide reassurance during moments of confusion or distress. You will maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. You will follow individualized care plans while preserving each patient's dignity, preferences, and quality of life. You will adhere to infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards.

Requirements

  • Current New Hampshire Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification

Nice To Haves

  • Experience caring for individuals with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia
  • Memory care, long-term care, home care, hospice, or assisted living experience
  • Knowledge of person-centered dementia care practices and de-escalation techniques
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team

Responsibilities
