Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA)
About The Position
Brookhaven Hospice is seeking a full-time Hospice Aide (LNA) to provide hands-on care that brings comfort and dignity to patients at the end of life. Working closely with the nursing team, the aide helps meet patients’ physical, emotional, and personal needs with respect, empathy, and professionalism. The role covers Concord, Hooksett, and Manchester, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Brookhaven Hospice describes itself as a mission-driven, patient-centered provider of end-of-life care. The organization aims to support patients and loved ones with comfort and compassion, emphasizing dignity, peace, and human connection alongside medical care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current, unencumbered LNA license in the state where the employee works.
- At least one year of experience as an LNA in an acute care or long-term care setting.
- Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and access to dependable transportation.

Responsibilities
- Follow each patient’s plan of care to support comfort and well-being, and respond promptly to requests from patients and their families or caregivers.
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, oral hygiene, changing bedding and clothing, and shampooing.
- Provide exceptional customer service and work to ensure patient satisfaction.
- Share knowledge and expertise with families and guide and support them in caring for terminally ill loved ones.
- Maintain accurate documentation in patients’ homes and in accordance with agency and regulatory standards.
