Licensed Nurse (LPN/RN) - FT Nocs - Previous PAR Experience Required
About The Position
This is a Full-Time Night Shift position for a Licensed Nurse (LPN/RN) requiring previous experience in a Post-Acute Rehab (PAR) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. Marquis Companies, established in 1989, is a growing healthcare organization with thousands of employees across California, Oregon, and Nevada. They operate Post-Acute Rehab and Assisted Living Facilities, Marquis at Home, Consonus Rehab, and Consonus Pharmacy. The role involves administering medications to residents as ordered by physicians, refilling and cleaning stock carts, and adhering to established nursing standards. For Registered Nurses (RNs), this includes ensuring quality nursing care and directing the day-to-day functions of Nursing Assistants, including planning shifts' services, programs, and activities.
Requirements
- Must be a licensed RN or LPN for the appropriate State.
- Previous experience in a PAR/SNF setting is required.
- Strong computer skills are needed for use of our electronic medical records system.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a healthcare setting working with the geriatric population is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, nurse supervisor, charge nurse, and/or Director of Nursing Services.
- Refilling and cleaning the stock cart.
- Administering medications in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, procedures, and practices of the facility and the requirements of the state.
- Performing other nursing duties as assigned.
- Meeting with assigned nursing staff and support personnel to plan the shifts’ services, programs, and activities (for RNs).
