About The Position

Marquis Companies is a growing and dynamic healthcare organization with facilities across California, Oregon, and Nevada. We are seeking a Licensed Nurse (LPN/RN) for Saturday/Sunday night shifts. This role involves administering medications to residents as ordered by physicians, maintaining medication carts, and performing other nursing duties as assigned. For Registered Nurses (RNs), this includes ensuring quality care and directing nursing assistants, as well as meeting with staff to plan shift services, programs, and activities.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed RN or LPN for the appropriate State.
• Strong computer skills are needed for use of our electronic medical records system.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a healthcare setting working with the geriatric population is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administering of medications to the residents as ordered by the attending physician, the nurse supervisor, charge nurse, and/or Director of Nursing Services.
• Refilling and cleaning the stock cart.
• Administering medications in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, procedures and practices of the facility and the requirements of the state.
• Other nursing duties as assigned.
• Meeting with assigned nursing staff and support personnel to plan the shifts’ services, programs, and activities (for RNs).
