Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)
About The Position
Licensed Mental Health Therapists provide virtual therapy to adults and families in California. The role is remote and full-time, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Most working time is spent in sessions, with additional time for notes, case review, and professional development. The stated annual salary range is $115,000–$120,000. Therapists address clients’ concerns, which may include stress, relationship issues, major changes at home or work, and other issues affecting day-to-day feelings and functioning. They use their training and experience to guide sessions, maintain clear and current clinical records, and adapt the direction of therapy as new concerns arise. The role requires confidentiality, professional boundaries, and compliance with California licensing and ethical requirements.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
- Active California license as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC.
- Two or more years of therapy experience.
- Skilled at connecting with clients remotely.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and family therapy by video.
- Understand each client’s concerns, background, and reasons for starting therapy.
- Use clinical training and experience to guide sessions appropriately for each case.
- Keep clinical notes clear, complete, and up to date.
- Revisit the direction of therapy when new concerns arise.
- Participate in training, case discussions, and professional development.
- Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
- Follow California licensing and ethical requirements for the relevant profession.
