Licensed Master Cosmetologist / Stylist
About The Position
Hair Cuttery is seeking experienced licensed cosmetologists or stylists with advanced technical skills, confidence, and a loyal clientele. The role is designed for professionals who can succeed with minimal guidance, while stylists still developing their skills are encouraged to apply for a separate Stylist role. Stylists can grow earnings through service and retail commissions and tips; compensation is based on performance and meets wage law requirements. The company provides salon supplies at no charge and supports guest traffic through social, local, and in-salon promotions. Tips are paid at the end of each day. The position offers full-time or part-time hours and opportunities to pursue leadership or education roles.
Requirements
- Valid state-specific cosmetology or barber license.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.; sponsorship is not available.
- Strong technical skills in precision cuts, fades, color services, and personalized consultations.
- Experience with advanced techniques such as highlights, balayage, texture services, and finishing.
- Professionalism, confidence, and ability to thrive with minimal guidance.
Nice To Haves
- A loyal book of business generating $1,300 or more per week; preferred and qualifies for higher commissions.
