About The Position

Hair Cuttery is seeking an experienced licensed cosmetologist or stylist with advanced technical skills and a loyal clientele. The role is intended for professionals confident in precision cutting, advanced coloring, and texture services who can thrive with minimal guidance. Stylists who are still developing these skills are encouraged to apply to the separate Stylist role. Compensation is performance-based and may include service and retail commissions and tips. Experienced stylists can retain or increase their existing prices, and top stylists are described as earning $45 to $88 or more per hour. The role includes access to guest-traffic support, walk-in customers, salon promotions, and supplies at no charge. Tips are paid at the end of each day. Hair Cuttery Family of Brands operates more than 500 salons. Licensed cosmetologist positions are available in DE, FL, IL, IN, MD, NJ, NC, PA, VA, and WV. The position may be full-time or part-time.

Requirements

Hold a valid state-specific cosmetology or barber license.
Be authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
Have strong technical skills in precision cuts, fades, color services, and personalized consultations.
Have experience with advanced techniques such as highlights, balayage, texture services, and finishing.
Demonstrate professionalism, confidence, and the ability to work with minimal guidance.

Nice To Haves

A loyal book of business generating $1,300 or more per week; this is preferred and qualifies the stylist for higher commissions.
