Licensed Master Cosmetologist / Stylist
About The Position
Hair Cuttery is seeking experienced licensed cosmetologists or stylists with advanced technical skills and a loyal clientele. The role is intended for professionals who can work confidently with minimal guidance, though stylists who want to develop toward this level are encouraged to apply for a separate Stylist role. Stylists can grow their earnings through service and retail commissions and tips; pay is performance-based and all compensation meets wage law requirements. Top stylists are reported to earn $45 per hour to $88+ per hour, with $100,000+ within reach. The company provides supplies at no charge and promotes guest traffic through social, local, and in-salon promotions. Stylists keep their tips at the end of each day. The role offers full-time or part-time hours, flexible scheduling, paid time off and vacation pay, medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, a 401(k), free advanced education, and recognition and rewards. Requirements
- Valid state-specific cosmetology or barber license.
- Authorization to work in the U.S.; sponsorship is not available.
- Strong technical skills in precision cuts, fades, color services, and personalized consultations.
- Experience with advanced techniques such as highlights, balayage, texture services, and finishing.
- Professionalism, confidence, and ability to thrive with minimal guidance.
Nice To Haves
- A loyal book of business generating $1,300 or more per week; preferred and qualifies for higher commissions.
