About the position
The Zebra is seeking hard-working professionals to join their call center team as sales agents. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers shopping for insurance on their platform. Your main responsibility will be to turn insurance shoppers into long-term customers and brand advocates for The Zebra. This is a full-time position with flexible working hours, and the opportunity for overtime. The starting salary is hourly, with the potential to earn between $45k-60k annually in the first year. Responsibilities
- Answer inbound sales calls from customers who need assistance with purchasing various insurance products
- Quote and sell through multiple insurance carriers and quoting platforms
- Cross-sell customers to meet all of their insurance needs
- Maintain a high level of production while providing professional service in a fast-paced sales environment
- Opportunities to learn and grow
- Obtain a General Lines license (provided by The Zebra) if you do not have one prior to start date
- Adaptability: thrive in a fast-paced flexible environment and love talking with people
- Coach-ability: take feedback well and implement it as needed to improve approaches
- Communication: clear and concise with verbal and written communication
- Value self-awareness, intellectual integrity, judgment, emotional intelligence
- Experience working within insurance sales is a plus
Requirements
- TX (General Lines) Property & Casualty license
- One year of high-volume sales experience
- Motivated, positive, and solution-oriented attitude
- Adaptability to a fast-paced flexible environment
- Coach-ability and willingness to implement feedback
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Value self-awareness, intellectual integrity, judgment, and emotional intelligence
- Experience working within insurance sales is a plus
