Social Services - LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker)
About The Position
This is a reduced non-billable orientation (NBO) position for a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the Adult and Pediatric Emergency Room. The role requires full licensure, and an associate license will not suffice. The position involves working every other weekend, specifically Saturdays and Sundays from 1600-0200. The social worker will be responsible for conducting crisis risk assessments for adults and pediatrics. While the primary work location is Providence Sacred Heart, there is a possibility of floating to Holy Family Hospital to perform the same duties if overstaffed. Providence Sacred Heart is a Short Term Acute Care facility with Level II Trauma Center designations for both adults and pediatrics, and it is a teaching hospital with 629 staffed beds. Charting is done via Epic, and parking is free.
Requirements
- Must have full LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker) licensure.
- An associate license will not suffice.
- Experience in conducting crisis risk assessments for adults and pediatrics.
- Licensed as a Mental Health Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Independent Clinical Social worker.
Nice To Haves
- Hospital experience preferred.
