About The Position
The Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker provides virtual therapy to clients with a range of mental health and life concerns. The clinician works independently with their own schedule of clients and stays connected with the care team when coordination or additional input is needed. The work focuses on direct client care, clear documentation, and ensuring each case receives appropriate attention.
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts LICSW license in good standing.
- Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
- Experience providing therapy or clinical social work services.
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
- Comfort using telehealth platforms and electronic health records.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapy through scheduled virtual appointments.
- Review new client concerns, background, and relevant history.
- Address emotional, behavioral, and social factors that may affect a client’s well-being.
- Keep clinical notes and required records current.
- Follow up on concerns that need additional attention.
- Communicate with care partners when coordination is appropriate.
- Identify when another service or resource may be helpful.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow Massachusetts LICSW professional standards.
