About The Position
A large Asia/US eCommerce logistics company is seeking a detail-oriented Licensed Customs Broker to support cross-border operations in the JFK/New York area. This hybrid role, with three days in the office, focuses on monitoring inbound and outbound shipments, preparing customs documentation, coordinating with carriers, and helping ensure cargo is released smoothly and on time. The role involves handling compliance paperwork, checking commercial documents, and supporting the customs clearance process from start to finish in a fast-paced environment. It offers an opportunity to grow in international logistics.
Requirements
- Customs Brokerage License.
- Comfort working under time pressure.
- Familiarity with tariff classification and import documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Nice To Haves
- Two to five years of experience in customs or trade compliance handling eCommerce shipments.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin; Mandarin is preferred.
